The organisation’s Christian ethos provides a foundation for its engagement strategy, rooted in compassion and inclusivity.
To protect the vulnerable, preserve families, and strengthen communities through integrated programmes that uphold dignity and drive lasting, transformative change.
To create sanctuaries of safety and support, where dignity is restored and hope takes root.
Our vision, mission, and values serve as the foundation of CMR North’s identity, guiding our decisions, shaping our culture, and defining our interactions with stakeholders.
Few realities are as devastating as the abuse, neglect, and exploitation of innocent children.
At CMR North, we encounter these realities every day, and we believe that no child should have to face them alone.
Our Save a Child Project was born out of a refusal to accept this as “normal.” Launched in 2000, it reflects a clear and urgent commitment: to protect children at risk, to respond decisively to abuse, and to ensure that every child has the opportunity to heal.
At the heart of this project is a simple truth – children are innocent. They deserve safety, care, and the chance to grow into their full potential. Yet many are exposed to harm at the hands of those who should protect them.
Through the Save a Child Project, we walk alongside these children on their journey to recovery – providing protection, therapeutic support, and a pathway toward healing.
As the need continues to grow, so does our resolve. We remain committed to acting in the best interests of every child we serve – restoring dignity, rebuilding trust, and helping them move from trauma to hope.
The CMR North operates through 15 CENTRES OF HOPE, situated geographically in three Provinces (Gauteng, Limpopo and North West).
